2026 HILLS STRENGTH AND FLEX CLASSES AND BALLET CLASSES
Thank you to our wonderful Hills members as well as friends from other clubs who have taken the time to attend our workshops on Flex and Strength for all age groups. Huge vote of thanks to Leah Staggard and Ebony Schulz-Doherty for giving their time to take the classes. The attendance is fantastic and will be invaluable to our members as they commence the 2026 year.

2025 Frangipani Challenge Results

A contingent of ‘Hills’ lovely ladies embarked on a journey to Darwin late September to compete in the Frangipani Challenge, with our Intermediate team coming away with the aggregate.
Congratulations Chloe, India and Mikayla as well as Layla (Coach) and Louise (assistant coach).

Our 31st Hills Graceful Solo Competition is complete! – and what a fabulous few days of beautiful performances from our gorgeous 10 year olds through to our magnificent seniors!
On behalf of everyone at Hills I’d like to thank members across the whole of CAWA for supporting our competition. I’d also like to mention our friends from other clubs who volunteered to help over the weekend. You are simply the best!
Hills has amazing members who demonstrate their loyalty to our club every year. Those of you who turn up annually to help for the whole weekend and those who are new to the fun – thank you, thank you, thank you.
To Lorraine Woodley, Trish Robinson, Natalie Byass, Kristina Readhead, Leah Staggard, Wendy Kraft, Lisa Farrelly, Tarryn Kluge, Jenny Atkinson, Kaye Hansen, Glenys Stade, Louisa Simonetti, Warren Hall, Daniel Lardner, Lisa Cugini, Melissa Murrowood and Sharon Farrow – you are all amazing! To Trish, Leah Schulz, Jill Law, Sandra Gosling, Georgina Crawforth and Chris North for stage managing – thank you so much. Thanks also to Wessel Viljoen for your help backstage. Special mention of Warren Hall and Daniel Lardner who gave their time so generously over the whole weekend – when not working as lighting technicians, you could see them helping backstage. You truly are the best! I would also like to acknowledge our coaching staff for putting up their hands to help wherever needed, especially Shannon Panizza who didn’t baulk from trying any role over the weekend. I would also like to thank our cadets who were there supporting their club most of the weekend. Special mention to India Tiley and Olivia Byass for your fabulous support and volunteering to help over the weekend.
Such a lot of work goes into making sure the competition runs smoothly and to time and I would like to again acknowledge Karen Quinn, Leah Staggard and Natalie Byass. Your hard work and endless support is fantastic. Leah, the foyer and photo booth were fabulous – even better than last year!
