HILLS SKILLS (April Edition 2022)
Thank you to our wonderful Hills members who were able to attend Hills Skills on Friday 22 April 2022. So much energy, fun, learning and SKILLS in one place!
Shout out to Jessica Kirkham and Leah Staggard for organising such an amazing and valuable event! Thanks also to Lesley Law, Jessica Moore and Olivia Gibson for their assistance on the day. Great team work!
2022 HILLS DISTRICT GRACEFUL SOLO COMPETITION
THAT’S A WRAP! THANK YOU FROM HILLS
On behalf of everyone at Hills I’d like to thank you all for supporting our competition, both participants and supporters. The 2022 graceful season has definitely had an interesting start – and I don’t think it’s over yet unfortunately. However, we will keep soldiering on and hopefully get through CAWA Graceful Solo Championships with not too many hiccups.
Thanks to all Hills members for your loyalty to our club. Those of you who turn up every year to help for the whole weekend and those who are new to the fun – thank you, thank you, thank you! Gail Benson, Wendy Kraft, Jenny Atkinson, Glenys Stade, Lisa Farrelly, Kristina Readhead, Tarryn Kluge, Lorraine Woodley, Lorraine and Andy Plummer, Cheryl Cooper, Warren Hall, Daniel Lardner, Lisa Cugini, Sharon Farrow and Trish Robinson – special mention to you all – such amazing people! Special mention also to the Applecross dads Wessel Viljoen and Chris North who filled in back stage at short notice on Friday evening. We at Hills are truly grateful for your support.
Such a lot of work goes into making sure our competition runs so smoothly and I would like to acknowledge Karen Quinn, Lorraine Woodley, Natalie Byass and Leah Staggard. Your hard work and endless support is fantastic, not only for the Hills competition but for Hills in general. We are indeed very fortunate to have you as part of our team.
Nothing more to say except best of luck to every beautiful competitor! We are all looking forward to seeing you perform over the next few weeks. Fingers crossed that COVID-19 doesn’t cause too much havoc in the lead up!
Kind regards
Sandra O’Keefe, President, Hills District Calisthenics Club
